Music Unite Minneapolis

These workshops are dedicated to connecting refugees to the Twin Cities’ vibrant music scene. Our project will introduce them to the world of music production, enabling them to not only start creating their own tracks, but giving them the skills and knowledge to continue making their own music once the workshop has ended.

The goal of this program is to create opportunities for these students to share their own culture and creativity through music. With the help of the instructor, Syrian-born Zimo, participants in this program will be shown through example that not only is their artistic voice welcome in the Twin Cities, but their contribution to our musical landscape is a vital component to it.
