Sam Enochs is a producer and percussionist based in Minneapolis. A lifelong drummer, Enochs has experience in a variety of musical contexts spanning orchestral/percussion ensemble, competitive drumline/drum corps, jazz combo/ensemble, and musical theatre. He plays with several groups covering various genres such as jazz, R&B, funk, rock, and indie/alternative. Around the age of 12, Sam got his hands on Garageband, which inspired years of experimenting with sound until later upgrading to Logic. His broad palette of influences in both acoustic and electronic styles led him to spend over 6 years creating music in Logic before coming to Slam Academy and transitioning to Ableton in 2017. With now over 10 years of production experience, he uses two monikers (Sami Nochs, Samjoh) to tackle opposing ends of the spectrum of human emotion, having expanded his musicality through Hip-Hop/R&B, Trap, Dubstep, House, and Drum & Bass.
